LOCATION
Located in the industrial park of the city of Dolavon, Province of Chubut, Patagonia Argentina. It belongs to the South Patagonia section, where there are sanitary advantages due to its location below the 42nd parallel, an area declared free of aftosa without vaccination. The advantage lies in the possibility of exporting meat on the bone.
GENERAL
New, highly technified meat processing plant. Stabling, observation and isolation pens capacity: 300 head. Slaughtering capacity: 40 animals per hour. Capacity of airing and maturation chambers: 450 half carcasses. Quartering and deboning capacity: 120 quarters per hour. Lung chamber capacity: 80 quarters. Freezing tunnel capacity: 8 tons Freezing chamber capacity: 30 tons. Chilling chamber capacity: 30 tons.
EXTERNAL FACILITIES
TRUCK WASHING AREA
There is an adequate structure with two lateral scaffolds and pressurized water pipes for washing trucks. The water is supplied by two tanks located in the pump area, an independent facility adjacent to the wash house.
SHED FOR LEATHER AND SALT WAREHOUSE
It has three pools with their respective drains with optional closing, the pools are coated with epoxy paint, and the walls with tiles, the total storage capacity of the three pools is approximately 1200 to 1500 hides.
